The main page can include a variety of information, while the landing page has one clear goal. The design of this page must be able to attract visitors’ attention in the first few seconds. Bad design will make visitors leave the page immediately without taking the desired action. It is where visitors can immediately find out what you offer and how they can get it. For example, if you are running a product sales ad campaign, then the landing page will only focus on that product and not distract visitors with other irrelevant elements.

There are some technical strategies that you can try.
1. Focus on the Conversion Goal
Stay focused on the conversion goal. If your goal is to collect leads, make sure the landing page uses a simple registration form that doesn’t require many steps. You need to optimize certain elements to speed up the conversion process. For example, the sign-up form should be no more than 3-4 columns long. Every design element should guide visitors to the next step directly.
2. Attractive Headlines
The headline should use a large and clear font. It should also have a strong contrast against the background for good readability on any device.
Use words that directly show the benefits of the product or service you are offering such as, “Increase Your Sales with Our Proven Services” because the headline should explain the message in one sentence.
3. Clear and Directed Call to Action (CTA)
To attract attention, you should use a CTA button with a contrasting color against the background and a large enough size. Place the CTA button in a perfect place, such as after the product description, at the end of the page, and even in the middle of the page to encourage visitors to continue moving towards action. The choice of words on the CTA is also very important. Use strong and direct verbs such as “Register Now” or “Get It Here.”

A clean and structured landing page layout will make it easier for visitors to understand the purpose of the page and the next steps. Use a system grid to arrange elements such as text, images, and CTA buttons so that visitors can easily follow the flow you create. The landing page should look good and responsive on any device. Use the mobile-first design technique, which is designing the display for mobile devices first. Then adjust the display for larger screens. 7. A/B Testing and Analyzing
You can do A/B Testing to find out which design elements are most effective. With it, you can compare two slightly different versions of the landing page to see which one is better at generating conversions. For example, you can test two different versions of the headline or a CTA button with a different color.
When doing A/B testing, don’t change many elements at once because it will be difficult to determine which element caused the change in conversion.
